Miss Fancy Pants

These gorgeous teal silk pants were love at first sight for me. Thrifted from a local market they are elegant, modern, flattering and they feel just as daring and bold a choice for me today as I imagine they were when they were new. I'm sure they're not every girls cup of tea but when I put them on I feel so floaty and effortless that this doesn't bother me at all. 

Here I have paired my pants with a plain cropped black top (portmans) and some black platform sandles (sportsgirl) so as not to draw away attention from the pants!

I really love incorporating classic, elegant pieces from times gone by into my wardrobe. I jucstapose those "vintage gems" with newer, more modern items. This creates an interesting result. For me this is an outfit which would be suitable for a number of different occasions from a family get together to a work do!

I can't recommend enough a pair of elegant dress-pants; they are truly essential to any wardrobe. They are flattering (they make my legs look miles longer and thinner than they are), comfortable and bold.
